Mice can sing...

Scientists have proven that rats can really learn how to  sing. Male mice use their screaming voice "hum" to win over the female and can change their song depending on whether they  have competition. The survey results showed that mice can mimic sounds and learn more complex "ringtones". It is thought that this ability, known as local learning is limited to some birds, dolphins, whales. Mice were used in medical research, and this discovery could help in the clarification of autism and other communication problems in humans.
It is already known that male mice is whistling or hum when trying to appeal to females, but it was considered that they do instinctively and that "thinking" has a very small percentage of the entire process.
However, when U.S. researchers put the mice from a different group in the same cage, it was found that one of them has adapted its "humming" sound like those of the other cage.

Other evidence indicating that mice can sing came with a range of research that proved that their brain has similarities with the human.

- Our research has shown that mice possess five characteristics associated with vocal learning. If by  end of the research this prove to be right, it will be a major boost for all researchers who study diseases such as autism and anxiety, says Eric Jarvis, one of the researchers from Duke University in North Carolina.
