Dashbon Flicks is a portable speaker with a projector for watching movies in the wild

Camping is a very beautiful thing, but really, who today can be a few days without the latest episode of your favorite series? Flicks will make sure to keep up to date even when you're high on the mountain, with excellent HD picture and quality sound, via Bluetooth, or HDMI connection. And not only that, but this device will even make you go camping, because let's be real, who would not want to watch a good horror movie in a deserted forest ?!
The battery lasts 4 hours for an excellent playback of video or 28 hours of music playback. So basically Flicks enables watching of two movies or two days uninterrupted music listening. For those who want to spend a week in the wild, Flicks Extended Range battery allows duplication of time playback of 8 hours and 56 minutes of video, or almost 60 hours of music. Impressive.
As for the projector, it has mediocre performance, with HD resolution, ie 1280x720 pixels and brightness of 700 lumens, which means that it is not bright enough to show a clear picture during a day light. Not that anyone would do it, right. Flicks promises projector is good enough for a clear picture with size of the diagonal of 100 inches, that can be seen at a distance of about 2.5 meters. However, it seems the biggest problem will be where to play the video, although the fiirst thing that comes to mind is a use of white sheets, or the interior or exterior of a larger tent.

Besides HD video, Flicks promises excellent "Hi-Fi" sound, thanks to the use of a sub-woofer which enables deep bass and two stereo speakers for mid and high tones. Flicks can only play music through Bluetooth connectivity, which means it can be used any smart device, but for playback of a video users will have to use the HDMI interface, and will have to own a better tablet or laptop. Or Roku and Fire TV sticks (requiring Internet).
The price of the Flicks is $450, or $530 for the version with larger battery (Extended Range) plus shipping costs. Flicks is arriving this May.
