NASA will launch a robotic hotel at the International Space Station

NASA will send something called a "robot hotel" to International Space Station. The launch is scheduled for this week with SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.

The "robotic tool storage", as the official name of the equipment to be sent into space, is actually a repository, or garage, where robots will be kept until they are used to protect against radiation, micrometeors and other hazards in space.

The first two guests will be the robots "Robotic External Light Lockers", whose task is to find holes in the outer body of the space station.

So far the robots are kept at the station itself, but take up a lot of storage space. In addition, they need to be calibrated before being sent to complete the task, which takes up to 12 hours.

Since their "hotel" will be located outside the station, Dexter's robotic arm will be easier to reach and send to work.
